Opened on 1 April 2004, it now has 243 shops: among the largest in western Japan.

The centre stands in Kashihara, a city south of Nara-shi with over 100,000 inhabitants and the hub of the Yamato-Yagi area. It comprises the main building (with Aeon Style and 230 specialist shops) and the ‘West Village’ with another 20 shops, as well as a TOHO cinema.
