Cape Sōya 宗谷岬
The marker of the northernmost point is 4.53 m high: a reference to the latitude, 45°31′22″.
The northernmost point of land in Japan, on the Sea of Okhotsk, about thirty kilometres east of the city of Wakkanai; on clear days you can see Sakhalin. On the headland stand the monument of the northernmost point, a lighthouse and a viewpoint.

In the eleventh episode Satania snatches a dog from the pound and finds out that pets are not allowed in her building; so she sets off north with the dog, and the journey ends here, at the northernmost tip of Japan. Vine and Raphiel catch up with her without any trouble: Raphiel had secretly installed a location app on her phone, and they had already seen her pass through Asahikawa.
