Gōra Onsen 強羅温泉

It was born in 1919 for the Tokyo elite, when the mountain railway reached it.

A hot spring area developed from 1912 onwards on the slope above Miyanoshita; it officially joined the seventeen onsen of Hakone in 1919 with the opening of the mountain railway.
