Hikari Museum (光ミュージアム) 光ミュージアム

16,000 pieces, including a National Treasure sword, in a building inspired by Maya ruins.

Registered as a museum by the Gifu Prefecture board of education in 2002 (renamed from ‘Hikari Memorial Hall’ to ‘Hikari Museum’ in 2013). It stands a few kilometres north of the Sūkyō Mahikari headquarters in Takayama.
