Crossing in front of Minami-Osawa Station 南大沢駅
The landmark of the film ‘Memories of Nobody’, and essentially the only identifiable real place in the whole series: the TV series is set in the fictional town of Karakura and has no other recognised models. Here the surveys recognise three shots close together: the crossing west of the station entrance, with the distinctive circular pavement called ‘Rinbu’; the path beside the Itō-Yōkadō, where a chase takes place; and the bridge leading to the outlet. They are all within two hundred metres.
A station on the Keiō Sagamihara Line, in 南大沢二丁目, the southernmost in Hachiōji (line number KO43); every train stops here, the Keiō Liner included. The crossing in the scene is the one west of the exit, with the circular mosaic pavement.
