Sakushima Island (佐久島) 佐久島

22 works of art scattered across a fishing island, 25 minutes by ferry from Isshiki.

The island keeps two settlements, one to the west with blackened-walled houses and a small hall called Benten, one to the east with inns and restaurants; hire bicycles are the usual way to get round it from one artwork to the next.
