Izumo-Daijingū 出雲大神宮
The Manai wells up behind the main building: you come here with empty bottles.
A shrine at the foot of Mount Mikage, east of the Kameoka basin. The main building is a national Important Cultural Property. Behind it wells up the Manai spring, which comes down from the mountain, considered sacred. In the grounds are the ‘wedded rocks’, two paired boulders, and the shrine is famous for romantic ties.
