It holds documents of the Ashikaga, Imagawa, Toyotomi and Tokugawa that escaped war.

The temple's full name is Kōkō-zan Kamoe-ji (甲江山鴨江寺). According to Wikipedia, it holds historical documents from four clans (Ashikaga, Imagawa, Toyotomi and Tokugawa) that survived the wars of the Muromachi and Sengoku periods, between 1333 and 1603.
