Kōmyō-ji (光明寺) 光明寺

It opens at six in the morning, and from 15 October at seven: no other temple does this.

The leading temple of the Jōdo school in the Kantō, in Zaimokuza. The 大殿, the great hall, is designated a national cultural property and is undergoing conservation work that began around 2019 and is expected to last about ten years; in the meantime the 開山堂 serves as the main hall.
