Kyoto Kyocera Museum of Art 京都市京セラ美術館

The building, from 1933, is the oldest public art museum still in its original premises.

The museum, in the Okazaki district next to Heian-jingū, mainly holds works of the Kyoto school of painting (Kyoto-ga) from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, as well as temporary exhibitions of contemporary art.
