Miyukidōri, Osaka's Korea 御幸通商店街
Three hundred metres and a hundred and fifty shops: it is the largest Korea in Japan.
The name comes from Miyukinomori Shrine, built where, according to tradition, Emperor Nintoku stopped in the fifth century while visiting the people who had come from the kingdom of Baekje and lived here. Today's Korean community formed in the twentieth century and is the most concentrated in the country.
