A museum and shop for hagoita: the shop is open 6 days, the museum only on Thursday, Friday and Saturday

The museum occupies the back of the family shop where master Nishiyama Kōgetsu makes hagoita using the oshie technique applied to the face (面相) and to the padding of each piece, always by hand. The shop is open Monday–Saturday, but the museum (the single exhibition room) can only be seen three days a week.
