Japanese Oni Museum 日本の鬼の交流博物館
Outside the museum there is a five-metre demon roof tile that weighs ten tonnes.
The only museum in Japan devoted to oni, the horned demons of folklore. It stands at the foot of Ōeyama, the mountain linked to the legend of Shuten-dōji, the chief of the demons who, according to the story, was killed there. It collects demon masks and figures from Japan and other countries.
