Okonomimura お好み村

23 okonomiyaki stalls on three floors, born of the post-war markets, in this building since 1992.

A building devoted to okonomiyaki, the Hiroshima speciality made in layers of cabbage, soba and egg. Its origins go back to the black-market stalls of the post-war years, gathered together around 1950; in December 1965 they became a permanent structure, later moved into the current building, completed in January 1992.
