Oyafuko-dori 親不孝通り

Renamed in 2000 for the sake of its image, it went back to its original name in 2017: 71% in a survey.

Oyafuko-dori, a street of nightspots in Tenjin, began in the ’70s as a student haunt near two private colleges. The street's name has changed form twice: from ‘Oyafuko-dori’ to ‘Oyafukou-dori’ in 2000 at the request of the police, then back to ‘Oyafuko-dori’ in 2017 on the initiative of local business owners.
