Inokashira Park 井の頭公園

Ieyasu came here to collect the water, the best in the Kantō for tea.

A metropolitan park straddling Musashino and Mitaka; in full 井の頭恩賜公園, ‘park of the imperial gift’. At its centre is Inokashira Pond, where the Kanda River rises. The park is divided into several sections: in the 西園, across the road, is the Ghibli Museum of Mitaka.

Kichijoji, Inokashira-koen

Witch Watch

In the third episode the main characters meet Kanshi here, disguised as a dog; the exact shot is the path along the left bank of the Kanda, inside the park. No official statement places the series in Kichijōji, but the surveys agree and the ending sequence goes round the neighbourhood.
