Azuchi Castle Ruins (安土城跡) 安土城跡

It burned three years after Nobunaga's death: only foundations and dry-stone walls remain.

Castle built by Oda Nobunaga between 1576 and 1579 on Mount Azuchi, in Omihachiman, and destroyed shortly after his death in 1582 during the Honnō-ji incident.
