Hakuto Shrine (白兎神社) 白兎神社
Here, says the Kojiki, the white rabbit washed its wound and sprinkled rush pollen on it.
A Shinto shrine on the coast west of Tottori city, whose foundation cannot be dated, that worships Hakuto-no-kami together with Toyotama-hime and Hoketsu-no-kami. It is also recognised as a birthplace of medicine for its tradition of healing the skin, echoing the rabbit's wound.
