Suwa Shrine, Isshiki (三河一色 諏訪神社) 諏訪神社

Six pairs of lanterns, the largest measuring 10 metres, raised on the fourth weekend of every August.

It is a neighbourhood shrine in Isshiki, on the coast of Mikawa Bay; for the rest of the year it remains a place of local worship, with the August festival as its only time of large crowds.
