In the immediate surroundings the same blog recognises 前田きつつき公園, just behind the planetarium, and 樽川人道橋 with its long ramps: neither, however, is confirmed by a second source.
The only private planetarium in Hokkaidō: 160 seats, a 15-metre dome, on National Route 5 towards Otaru, 5–8 minutes on foot from the south exit of JR Teine Station. Address 札幌市手稲区手稲本町2条4丁目1-11.
