Japan National Stadium (Kokuritsu Kyogijo) 国立競技場

The series calls it the ‘sacred ground of Japanese football’: it is the final destination that all the strikers of the Blue Lock project are aiming for.

The Kasumigaoka stadium, in Shinjuku, built for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. In 2023 and 2024 it hosted Blue Lock's official collaborations with the J.League and with the release of ‘Blue Lock: Episode Nagi’.

This is where Yuna's concert is held, and with it the finale of ‘Ordinal Scale’. The stadium as drawn, however, is not the one you see today: in 2017 the film came out while the venue was still under construction, and the shape on screen resembles Zaha Hadid's design, abandoned in 2015, not the Kengo Kuma design that was later built.
