Franky Statue — Takamori Station フランキー像

One of the 10 bronze statues of the Straw Hat crew installed across Kumamoto Prefecture between 2018 and 2022, as part of the ‘ONE PIECE Kumamoto Fukkou Project’, the official reconstruction after the 2016 earthquake, linked to Eiichiro Oda, who is from Kumamoto. This is the Franky statue, installed in November 2020 in the forecourt of Takamori Station, the terminus of the Minamiaso Railway.

The themed train ‘ONE PIECE × 南阿蘇鉄道’, decorated as the Thousand Sunny, departs from the same station: it is a permanent initiative of the project.
