Takachiho Shrine (高千穂神社) 高千穂神社

Every evening, 365 days a year, four of the 33 dances of the local kagura are performed.

The main shrine of Takachiho, with its thousand-year-old cedar and its pair of wedded cedars. It is about 400 m from the Takachiho Michi-no-Eki and 500 m from Gamadase Market.
