Tsu Hachiman-gū (津八幡宮) 津八幡宮

Since 1636 the Tōjin Odori has paraded here, a dance that imitates the Korean envoys visiting the shogun.

The shrine, founded in the Kemmu era as the first Hachiman-gū of Ise Province, was moved to its current site in Fujigata in 1632 and in 1642 became the guardian shrine of the Tōdō clan.
