Ochanomizu Station 御茶ノ水駅
It is the station right by Sōta's home and the centre of gravity of the whole Tokyo part of the film: Suzume comes out of here, gets into the car with Serizawa, crosses the Kanda. The Hijiribashi Bridge (聖橋) stands 90 m away, the concrete arch where three railway lines cross: it is where Suzume arrives in Tokyo and throws herself towards the river, the most photographed shot in the area. 250 m to the west, Ochanomizu Bridge (お茶の水橋) also comes back in the backgrounds, and towards Hongō there is the slope beside Shōwa Daiichi High School that Suzume climbs to reach Sōta's home.
A station on the Kanda River, between Chiyoda and Bunkyō.
