The museum of the creator of Detective Conan: you can try out his turbo-engine skateboard.
Devoted to the manga artist Aoyama Gōshō, born in Hokuei (then Ōgi), the museum displays original artwork from Detective Conan, Magic Kaito and YAIBA and recreates the studio where he draws. Among the objects on display are working replicas of his characters' inventions, such as Conan's turbo-engine skateboard.
Opened on 18 March 2007 next to the michi-no-eki Daiei, in Hokuei. A move to a new site three times larger is planned for 2027.
ℹ️ Opening hours and ticket to be checked on the official site (gamf.jp) before your visit, in view of the 2027 move. Reachable on foot (about 1.5 km) from Yura Station, renamed ‘Conan Station’.
