Free, 200 metres high, a view over the bay and the Rainbow Bridge, on the 46th floor
On the 46th floor of Caretta Shiodome, on the level of panoramic restaurants, a free observation corner open to all looks south-east over Tsukiji, Kachidoki, Odaiba, the Rainbow Bridge and the Tokyo Gate Bridge, 200 metres up. The space has only four windows (room for about four photographers at a time), so at busy times you wait your turn and give up your place after a few minutes. In the rain the glass fogs up and visibility drops.
Caretta Shiodome is an office and shopping complex in the Shiodome neighbourhood, with a level of panoramic restaurants on the 46th floor. Within that floor, a corner called SKY VIEW stays free and open even to those not eating at the restaurants: four windows facing Tokyo Bay, reached by a direct lift from level B2.
ℹ️ No official page states specific hours for SKY VIEW alone, only that it is free (‘※無料でお楽しみいただけます’); tourist guides give a rough 11:00–23:00. Direct lift from level B2. The view depends on the weather: on rainy days the glass fogs up.
