Opened in three stages from 2022 to 2024: the Valley of Witches, the largest area, is the newest.
Inside Moricoro Park, the Expo 2005 park, Studio Ghibli opened its areas in three stages: the first three (Ghibli's Grand Warehouse, Hill of Youth, Dondoko Forest) in November 2022, Mononoke Village a year later, and the Valley of Witches (the largest) in March 2024. It is not an amusement park with rides: you walk among full-scale reconstructions of the houses and views from the films, and each area requires a separate ticket with an entry time fixed in advance.
A Studio Ghibli theme park opened in stages between 2022 and 2024 in the Expo 2005 commemorative park in Nagakute, near Nagoya. It covers about 7.1 hectares.
