The place that recurs most in the film: the plaza with the reflecting pool and the little bridge, the steps with the waterfall and the area of illuminated billboards reappear at 0:03:30, 0:18:30 and 1:24:50, and it is here that Ayaha and Mami take Kaguya to eat pancakes. Inside the same complex, within 150 m, are the たましん美術館 (the background of a scene at the table), the 立川ステージガーデン theatre with the calendar monument, and the restaurant 100本のスプーン. The Sun Sun Road (立川サンサンロード), the pedestrian promenade that runs from the station's north exit to here, is the backbone of the pilgrimage: Ayaha watches the shooting star from it in the opening scene, and around 0:18:00 Kaguya secretly follows Ayaha and her friends along it. Cinema Two and Tachikawa-Kita monorail station stand along its route.
