JoJo's Bizarre Adventure

The surnames of Hirose Kōichi, the Echoes user from Part Four, and of Hirose Yasuho from Part Eight come from here: sources trace them to the Hirose River, the watercourse that runs through Sendai, and to the street of the same name. On the same street, about eighty metres away, the Kōyō Grand Hotel is cited as the model for the ‘Morioh Grand Hotel’ where Jōtarō stays; it is below the 150-metre threshold, so it has no marker of its own.
