Onsen at Takaosanguchi fed by a spring 1,000 m deep; Saturdays and public holidays 1,300 yen.
Beside the west exit of Takaosanguchi Station, it draws its water from a real spring pumped from a depth of 1,000 metres: indoor and outdoor baths, a sauna, a soba restaurant. People coming down from Mount Takao stop here first, and that is exactly what makes it crowded at weekends and in autumn, when several reviews report cramped changing rooms at peak times.
A hot-spring bath complex opened on 27 October 2015 beside Takaosanguchi Station. It is the most convenient bath after the descent from Mount Takao.
ℹ️ Open 8:00–22:30, last entry 21:45, all year round (‘年中無休’). Tiered prices: 1,100 yen on weekdays, 1,300 yen on Saturdays, public holidays and in high season. ⚠️ Several reviews (ニフティ温泉, 4travel) report heavy crowding at weekends and after hikes, especially in autumn, with cramped changing rooms at peak times.
