The 1966 building reopened in 2015 as an alley of small eateries in the old nightlife district.
Inside the Yoshino Building, in the post-war entertainment district (中央1丁目), six eateries (from Neapolitan pizza to offal, from sushi to yakitori) share the common hall on the ground floor; on the first floor a second, smaller yokochō (alley of small eateries) houses Japanese-style snack bars.
Yokochō in the centre of Kōfu, created by restoring a 1966 building in an area that since the post-war years has been the city's main nightlife district. The Yoshino Building, built in 1966, was renovated and reopened in 2015, keeping its sixties layout.
