The dolphin show is synchronised with 360-degree light projections across the whole hall.
A short walk from Shinagawa Station, the aquarium covers walls and corridors with digital projections: in the evening show the dolphins leap inside a hall transformed through 360 degrees by lights and projections synchronised with the music, a set-up that no other aquarium in Tokyo replicates.
Aquarium inside the Shinagawa Prince Hotel, next to Shinagawa Station. Along with Jiyūgaoka, it is the series' most visited pilgrimage destination.
ℹ️ Paid entry, with its own opening hours. Inside, you may take photos and video for personal use only: tripods, monopods and selfie sticks are banned, live streaming is banned, and you may not publish images in which other visitors or staff can be recognised. The dolphin show has a daytime and a night-time version, at 17:30 and at 19:00, and it is the night-time one that Rintarō and Kaoruko watch; towards closing time the hall empties and you can take photos with nobody in them, but the café is already closed. Same-day re-entry is allowed. From the Takanawa exit of Shinagawa Station it is five minutes straight ahead, across the zebra crossing.

It is the aquarium where Rintarō and Kaoruko have their date in episode 8, and it was also chosen as the background of the series' second official key visual, the same one that opens the official website. In the manga the two have their date in the same aquarium.
