Ten workshops open to the public: Nanbu ironware, ceramics and a magariya house with free admission.

Ten separate workshops (two of Nanbu wrought iron, plus ceramics, weaving, Iwayado furniture, basketry, lacquerwork and goldsmithing) let you watch the artisans at work and offer hands-on classes for anyone who wants to try. The grounds also hold a traditional Nanbu magariya house, L-shaped, with the stable joined to the kitchen, and admission is free.

A complex created to bring together in one place the traditional artisans of the Morioka area, in the hot-spring district of Tsunagi.

ℹ️ Open 8:40–17:00, closed over the year-end and New Year (29/12–1/1). Free admission to the complex; the individual classes have separate fees. By bus, Tsunagi/Uguisu line from the East Exit of Morioka Station, about 35 minutes to Morioka-Tsunagi Onsen, then 5 minutes' walk.

🚉 Koiwai · 28 min walk
