Traditional shoe shop opened in 1934. It is on the second floor of the Foot Building, above Tsuruha Drug, five shopfronts south of Forus, inside the Vlandome Ichibanchō covered arcade.
ℹ️ It still sells geta and zōri and repairs nasuo: it is a real shop, and you go in with respect.

It is the model for the ‘Mukade shoe shop’ in the fourth part, the one where Kira Yoshikage takes the buttons of his jacket to be repaired. It is the most visited pilgrimage site in Sendai: readers arrive every day, the shop sells merchandise from the series and, on request, issues a receipt made out to ‘Kira Yoshikage’.
