From the observation tower you can see the sea, Enoshima and, on clear days, Mount Fuji all at once.
At the top of 180-metre Mount Kōma, the observation tower has a 360-degree view: Hiratsuka and the coast as far as Enoshima on one side, the Tanzawa mountains and, on clear days, Mount Fuji on the other. It is among Japan's hundred selected night views (夜景100選), and as the sun goes down the lights of Shōnan come on below you.
A hillside park on the border between Hiratsuka and Ōiso, it includes Mount Kōma (strategically important since ancient times for control of the Shōnan coast) and the Shōnandaira viewing platform, with an observation tower.
ℹ️ The park and tower are always open and free.
