It is the most frequently cited model for the Infinity Castle, Muzan's stronghold, and the reason is the lobby: a full-height space rising from the basement to the first floor, with a ‘floating stage’ at its centre that recalls a nō theatre stage, where live shamisen performances are held at certain times. The resemblance to the castle's structure, and to the demon who moves its rooms by playing the biwa, did the rest. It is an attribution by readers, not an official one: the ryokan 八幡屋 is also cited as an alternative candidate.
