The only department store in the prefecture: open since 1948, and its basement is given over entirely to food.
Riubo occupies ten floors above two basement levels in the Palette Kumoji complex, in the heart of Naha. Coming in at street level you find cosmetics and a café; going down, the newly renovated 350-seat food hall; on the second floor, the 樂園百貨店 section stocks only Okinawan products.
Founded in 1948, デパートリウボウ is the only department store in the whole of Okinawa Prefecture: the other cities do not have one of their own. It is part of the Palette Kumoji complex, two minutes' walk from Kencho-mae Station on the Yui Rail monorail.
ℹ️ Usually open 10:00–20:00 (the lower floors until 20:30; some shops inside keep their own hours). Free entry. The fourth floor of Palette Kumoji also houses the Naha Museum of History (那覇市歴史博物館).
