Sentō with one of the largest outdoor baths in Tokyo, closed only on the third Thursday of the month.

Inside you find an outdoor bath among the largest in the city, two saunas (dry and salt) and a groundwater bath set in an artificial cave. The men's section has a much larger outdoor bath than the women's, several reviews agree; two sides of the building face an apartment block, with little perceived privacy from above.

Sentō (neighbourhood public bath) in Higashi-Ueno, open almost non-stop from 11 in the morning until after one at night. It is one of the sentō taking part in the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's ‘tourist-friendly’ campaign, which highlights public baths ready to welcome foreign visitors.

ℹ️ Open 11:00–1:30 at night, closed only on the third Thursday of the month and on 1–2 January. Entry 600 yen adults (regulated fare, up from 520 yen since 1 August 2026), 200 yen elementary school children; sauna extra 350 yen on weekdays, 450 yen at weekends and on public holidays. Two minutes from Inaricho metro station.
