Peanuts museum in Machida, four minutes from the station: no car park of its own.
The museum gathers original Peanuts comic strips and a route through Snoopy's history from the fifties to today, with photo spots and a shop selling exclusive merchandise. It has been at its current site, inside the Minami-machida Grandberry Park shopping centre, since December 2019. Tickets have a fixed time slot at weekends and on public holidays, and several reviews report queues at the most popular photo spots even with that system.
The museum is devoted to Snoopy and Charles M. Schulz's Peanuts. It first opened in Roppongi in 2016, as a temporary site that closed in September 2018, and moved here on 14 December 2019, to the Minami-machida Grandberry Park area. The link with the Charles M. Schulz Museum in California that is often cited online is not confirmed by any official museum page opened in this research.
ℹ️ Open on weekdays 10:00–18:00 (last entry 17:30), Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays 10:00–19:00 (last entry 18:30). Closed on 1 January and 16 February 2027. Advance tickets: 2,000 yen adults and university students, 900 yen junior high and high school, 500 yen from 4 years old to elementary school; on the day it costs 200 yen more per band. The museum has no car park of its own, and the Grandberry Park shopping centre car park is not discounted for museum visitors. It is a 4-minute walk from Minami-machida Grandberry Park Station, Tōkyū Den-en-toshi Line.
