Opened in 1967, here since 1993, and linked to Keisei Chiba Station: you can reach it without going outside.
The department store occupies a building directly connected to Keisei Chiba Station and a few minutes' walk from JR Chiba Station. Besides its fashion floors, it is known for the large food hall in the basement and for an area devoted to niche hobbies, rare in a general department store.
Sōgō opened its first store in Chiba in 1967, in the Tsukamoto Dai-Chiba building; in 1993 it moved to its current premises. In 2023 the Sōgō-Seibu brand passed to the Fortress/7&i group, in a sale that made national news.
