Inside the arcade, sixteen stalls of a neighbourhood market: three shops and 13 kitchens.
The covered arcade runs for seven blocks between Ōdōri and Susukino, and you can walk in the dry even when it snows. At the sixth block a side door opens onto what is left of the neighbourhood market: a fishmonger, a butcher, a greengrocer and thirteen tiny kitchens, where you eat standing at the counter. Its scale is that of the time before the street was roofed over.
It is the fifth of the seven blocks of 狸小路, identified by comparing the position of the traffic light and of the road signs at the junction. The photo shows the arch at 5丁目.

The stretch of arcade that appears in episode 18 of the first season, the one about Chizuru's love. A detail to look for on site: in the anime the shop sign reads 北幌サンセット商店街, a reference to はぼろサンセットビーチ in the author's home town.
