Opened on 1 February 2024 next to the market: it is the outer market that Toyosu was missing.
About seventy shops in a complex built in imitation of Edo architecture, with two inner streets of stalls and restaurants: sushi, eel, ramen, tuna skewers. Above there is a hot-spring bath open twenty-four hours, with water brought from Hakone and Yugawara, and on the eighth floor a free footbath, open from 9:00 to 22:00.
When the wholesale fish trade moved from Tsukiji to Toyosu in 2018, the outer market did not follow it: it stayed where it was. This complex, opened on 1 February 2024, is the attempt to give Toyosu the outer market that had grown up by itself at Tsukiji over a century.
ℹ️ Shops 10:00–18:00, restaurants 10:00–22:00, footbath 9:00–22:00, hot-spring baths open 24 hours. Shijō-mae Station on the Yurikamome, four minutes on foot. From Haneda about 35–40 minutes. ⚠️ The real wholesale market is something else and has its own rules: here you buy and eat retail.
