The two towers, completed in 1993, are joined at the top by a suspended glass escalator.
A transparent escalator takes you from the 35th to the 39th floor, crossing the void between the two towers: it is the most sought-after photo spot in the building. The observatory is spread over three levels (39th, 40th and the terrace at the top): on the 40th floor a glass counter runs for 35 metres, and the rooftop terrace, 173 metres above the ground, is completely open-air through 360 degrees.
A complex of two twin towers in the Ōyodonaka neighbourhood of Kita-ku, completed in 1993 and structurally joined at the top. It is one of the most recognisable visual landmarks of the Osaka skyline.
ℹ️ Observatory open 9:30–22:30 (last entry 22:00). Adult ticket 2,000 yen. Near Osaka-Umeda Station.
