Three hundred metres of tower, and sixteen of its floors are the largest shop in Japan.
The tower can be seen from half of Osaka, and you can reach it without leaving the station. The sixteen lower floors house the Kintetsu department store, which has the largest sales floor area in the country; above are offices, a hotel, a museum and, at the top, the viewpoint. The restaurants on the top three floors stay open until eleven at night, an unusual hour for attractions in the area.
A 300-metre skyscraper in the Abeno neighbourhood, above Tennōji and Ōsaka-Abenobashi stations. ⚠️ It was the tallest building in Japan from its opening until November 2023, when the Mori JP Tower at Azabudai Hills in Tokyo opened: it no longer is, and older guides still say it is.
ℹ️ The department store is open 10:00–20:00 from the second basement to the eleventh floor, the restaurants from the twelfth to the fourteenth floor 11:00–23:00, and the food department on the second basement 10:00–22:00. Directly connected to Tennōji Station (JR and Osaka Metro) and Ōsaka-Abenobashi Station (Kintetsu). ⚠️ The price and opening hours of the Harukas 300 viewpoint are NOT given: the official fares page would not open.
