A 91-metre Ferris wheel on the roof: 14 and a half minutes to see the whole of Sakurajima.
A shopping complex above Kagoshima-Chūō Station, run by JR Kyushu. On the roof turns the Amuran Ferris wheel, 60 metres in diameter and 91 metres at its highest point: a full rotation takes about 14 and a half minutes, in one of the 36 gondolas (two with a transparent floor and ceiling). From up there, Sakurajima appears straight ahead, beyond the entire city skyline.
A shopping centre with bookshops, international brand stores and restaurants above the city's main railway hub.
ℹ️ Amuran: weekdays 12:00–19:45, weekends and public holidays 10:00–19:45; 800 yen adults (figure from March 2026).
