On the 31st floor of Toki Messe, 125 metres up: a free view, and a name taken from a rice cracker.
On the 31st floor of the Toki Messe tower, 125 metres above sea level, the observation deck is the highest point on the Japanese side of the Sea of Japan and remains free of charge. On clear days you can see as far as Sado Island and the Gozu range, as well as the city and the mouth of the Shinano River. Since 2016 the name has belonged to Befco (Bourbon), which bought it for its Bakauke rice cracker.
A free observation deck in the Toki Messe complex (convention centre and hotel) on the islet of Bandaijima, in Niigata city.
ℹ️ Free entry. Opening hours typically 9:00–21:00, last entry 20:30 (check for changes on tokimesse.com before setting off).
