In summer the car park costs 2,200 yen, and after closing time you cannot get out until morning.

A rocky cape that cuts the Hayama coast in two, emptier than the beaches to the north because it is not comfortable to stay on: the ground is rock and you need shoes. To make up for it, from here the sun sets behind Mount Fuji. ⚠️ The car park has strict rules: in summer it costs up to 2,200 yen and closes at a set time, and anyone still inside cannot get out until the next morning.

A rocky promontory on the southern coast of Hayama, one of Kanagawa Prefecture's fifty selected scenic spots. It separates the beach of the same name from the stretch of coast towards Akiya.

ℹ️ Free entry. The municipal car park has one hundred and thirty spaces, two of them reserved for people with disabilities, and is open 7:00–19:00 in July and August, 9:00–18:00 from April to June and in September and October, 9:00–17:00 from November to March. ⚠️ **Charges**: free on weekdays outside July and August; 400 yen an hour up to a maximum of 1,600 at weekends and on public holidays out of season; **1,600 yen per entry on weekdays in July and August** and **2,200 at weekends and on public holidays in the same months**, with half price from the afternoon. After closing time the car park shuts and you cannot get out until morning, with a 5,000 yen penalty. ⚠️ The ground is rock: you need shoes.
