Reopened in Ginza on 26 January 2025, deliberately kept below the height limit.
The current building, completed in August 2024, was deliberately built lower than the limit allowed at that spot in Ginza (56 metres), to leave an open space in the neighbourhood's sky. Eight floors, five above ground and three below, with no permanent shops: each floor hosts rotating exhibitions and events, with a restaurant on level B3.
Ginza Sony Park is the public park that appeared in place of the old Sony Building (1966–2017) at the Sukiyabashi crossing. Opened to the public on 26 January 2025, it is a rotating project: each floor changes its layout over time with different exhibitions and events, with no permanent shop.
ℹ️ Open 11:00–19:00; closed over the year-end and New Year period and on two maintenance days stated for 2026 (28 September, 27 October). Free entry to the park; some activities inside require an online booking, which is also free.
