422,200 m², the largest outlet in Japan: opened in 2000 on the site of a closed amusement park.
Rows of European chalet-style buildings follow one another across a plateau at the foot of Fuji: 290 shops (after the fourth expansion, completed on 1 June 2020) on a site of 422,200 square metres, the largest of Japan's outlets. Run by the Mitsubishi Estate·Simon joint venture, it stands on the site of the defunct Odakyu Gotemba Family Land amusement park, on a thirty-year lease from the Odakyū railway.
Opened on 13 July 2000, the centre grew through successive expansions to today's 290 shops, becoming the largest outlet in Japan by area. It lies on the outskirts of Gotemba, a city at the north-eastern foot of Fuji, along the historic Tōkaidō route towards Hakone.
ℹ️ Open 10:00–20:00 all year round (official source).
